Lime koolaid
Fast finishing ( 7.5 weeks on the dot )
Indica /sativa hybrid
Very vigorous growth , easy for beginners and seasoned growers alike
Smells like lime koolaid powder mix , and/or green mangos .
Like koolaid is our flagship cultivator . She was discovered by accident over 5 years ago and we have kept her and worked her ever since . Genetically she’s made up of Gorilla glue #4 , and west coast dawg .
GG4 needs no further introduction , as it’s already carved in stone of cannabis history.
West coast dog is a little more nuanced in its back story . West coast dawg was a tightly held Og Humboldt county growers’ clone only pheno of chem #4 , which she held until retiring in 2016 after prop 64 greatly affected the OG legacy growers of Humboldt county .
When she retired she passed a few of her tightly held cuts of West coast dawg out to friends , and one of these cuts was later crossed to GG4 . Of this Cross we popped some of the seeds , and an unusual pheno popped up .
Where as all the other phenos were fuel /diesel on the nose , there was one odd one that smelled like limes in flower . We kept a clone of this odd pheno just in case . Turned out that the flower was quite nice and packed an intense body stone , and the lime koolaid terps stayed and lingered well into cure . The lime koolaid odor stayed so pronounced that even some samples we have from it from over 5 years ago STILL smell like Lime koolaid till this day .
Lime koolaid consistently makes two phenos , one is a more gg4 type structure , with spongey frosty , super sticky buds .
The other pheno produces tight gum drop sized rock hard buds at every bud site .
Both phenotypes smell like lime koolaid powder , and/or green mango .
Lime Koolaid is very very vigorous and hardy . It can handle as much feed as you can throw at her, and forgive most common growing mistakes . She is a resilient and easy to grow and will reward you with lots of high quality flower even if you are not yet an experienced grower .
She is a very sturdy plant with strong lateral branches, but we recommend cropping at 4th node , and then using a scrog net to create a canopy of nice even colas , as without a scrog net she can get tall very quickly in flower cycle .
This girl is fast … real fast ! She’s done at 7.5 weeks on the dot . Dont wait for trichomes to turn amber , as with this cultivar they will not turn amber. Just take her at 7.5 on the dot , and enjoy !
